Not to get this off on another tangent, but this is just too rich:
"Blaming "de white man" for the ills of your people is another issue. Creating AIDS, shipping drugs into the hood, blowing up the levees and a litany of other genocidal accusations don't seem to fall into the Biblical arena." Steve, can you name for us some of things that could be blamed on the white man? And if you can, do you think they had anything to do with the ills of the black community today? Is there anything in American history that might make the black community a little suspicious of white intentions? Can you think of anything? |

Also, are paranoid assertions the exclusive domain of black Americans? If crazy conspiracy theories blaming the white man for things really bother you so much, do you want to list the nutty conspiracy theories many white people have about our government?
Why is every thread -- this one was about Reverend Hagee, after all -- an opportunity to go off on blacks for you? |

Sure I can. Nothing that I deserve any shit for whatsoever. How about you? I suppose I could find all sorts of injustice against humanity from just about any group. And when somebody is raking in money by whipping that kind of shit well, f^ck him. And in honesty I sing some rebel songs around St Paddys day. I haven't been harmed one bit by any living Englishman. Got nothing against the Queen. But it's in fun. If I were actually inciting a mob to hate the Brits, perhaps even such an open minded soul as yourself MIGHT just call me on it. But ask yourself if giving this kind of stuff a pass because "they don't know any better" is insulting. WSS |

You're not really equating the British/Irish history with slavery and Jim Crow, are you?
The point really isn't whether or not you're at fault. (And I'm not sure who is saying you are.) It's that you keep harping on how a greater percentage of blacks are on welfare, illiterate, commit crimes, etc. Now you're on about black conspiracy theories. (Except for the one where we tested syphillis on them -- that one was true.) What do you think best explains the disparity between black and white? |
