I've been favoring Obama, but I'm now worried that he's an easy target. Gallup has either ahead of McCain, but not by a lot.

You must read different polls then the rest of America, which all have McCain ahead of both, but not by alot. Must be the "Hollywood ultra-leftwing Liberal Poll".

No, it's Gallup, the dominant poll in America. Just released a few days ago, reported everywhere.

Both Dem candidates beat McCain by very slender margins.

Both led in yesterday's Gallup tracking. Today, Clinton beats McCain (by two points) but McCain beats Obama (by one point).

Clinton has overtaken Obama in the same poll among registered Dems. More significance.
