I did a google map around Cleveland Stadium

The closest hotels were:

Marriot
Crowne Plaza
Renaissance
Hyatt

Has anyone stayed at any of these places. Definately walkable.

Pick the cheapest, they are all OK and definately walkable. I stayed, relatively, alot further from the stadium and still walked it after game day no problem.

It's not a big decision I promise. Surely you will be out celebrating til the early hours and so won't get to know your room very well anyway!

I have stayed there a couple of times....not a bad spot.

A bit of a walk to the downtown restaurants and bars, but the cab fare won't run more than $5 or so each way if you don't feel like walking.

I'm probably going to get there around 2-3......relax for a bit and head straight to the Brownsboard tailgate for 4. I doubt i'll be going out to a bar after the game but who knows......
