Here's a cut-n-paste from a previous thread:

For each Home game, a group here throws one hell of a Tailgate Party. If you are coming in from out of town and can't lug your own grills, tables and tailgate set-up (or have no 'tailgate' to party off of because you flew in ...), we have some pretty good accomodations;

First of all, visit our Officiual Tailgate Party Page at; http://thebrownsboard.com/tailgate.htm. The page is filled with archived pictures of our events since Opening Day 1999.

On that page you will find a link to our Question & Answer Page to hopefully answer most all of your questions. The Q&A page will direct you to Maps to our tailgate spot, Our e-mail addresses for private contact, a link to a Hotel Directory that we've put together, a link to Clevelands RTA public transportation system, if needed, there is even a link at the bottom of the page for available tickets to each home game.

Secondly, come back to this forum (hopefully you're alreday registered here), and during the early part of the week of the weekend that you are coming in for, find the 'Official Tailgate Thread' for the game that you are coming in for and let us know your plans and the headcount of those in your party that will be attending.

Oh, one last thing - If you are in need of some good tailgate garb, shop at our store www.TheBrownsStore.com

Yeah, bring a long sleeve T-shirt for indoors ... the forcast calls for a high of 39-degrees on Saturday and a high of 42-degrees on Sunday.

TRANSLATION: The Stadium will feel like about 29-degrees, -29 to you Californians.

I was wondering that myself.

A couple of years back (when we finished the season with San Diego), it was so cold that our beers froze over and we even had them sitting on top of the grill hood (I a NOT kidding).

Most seasons we don't even hold a conventional tailgate party for the last game (for several reasons, but the weather is one of them).

You should come in this weekend for the balmy 30-degree weather.

Actually, I'm not worried about the Browns game, it will at least be during the day. I'm worried about freezing my ass off at the High School State Semi-finals that don't kick-off until after dark (7:00pm) .. and with much less Alcohol in me than a Browns game.

G, are you by yourself or will there be others? Our parties are Bring Your Own Beverages, but we can help out-of-towners if that will be a hassle for you. Email us privately if we can help you with that. Looking forward to meeting you.

Unfortunately...its the final home game or not at all again this season for me. Unless we have a home playoff game, although that will be in January and it will be just as freakin cold.

I'm gonna decide in the next week or two if I'm coming for sure....but I'm leaning towards being there that weekend.

The Hoorta will be there, along with the recently de-cursed wife. Fellow winos Bob & Cathy will be with us. As usual, will bring the Orange Stuff, and plenty of fermented grape juice.

Ed,
I may not make the Tailgate Party. We might run down to Wheeling to gamble Saturday night. If I make it back, it won't be until about noon.

Maybe Skippy can make it back from the bingo parlor in time to relieve Roach so he can make the Elton John concert.

And if Ohio had Casino's, I could lose the kids lunch money in-State.

I'll be at the game Zippy, so STFU.

Ed,
I may be at the Tailgate afterall. If so, I'll bring the wood (and boy will I!)

I can't let Zippy call me out, so I changed my plans.

Guys, have a blast. At least now I have some contextual memory to imagine you getting drunk by. Tell all the hot chicks I still haven't washed my cheeks and make sure our boys kick those Texan's arses hard.

Can't wait til me and the G-man come back to Cleveland, only 50 weeks to go!

Howie.

(Having said that, I hear Arizona is nice in February! C'mon you Browns!!! )
