The Browns Board (TBB) is one of the top Cleveland Browns fan sites. The site is featured around a Browns Message Board. Those fortunate enough to have Browns tickets, congregate at the TBB's Tailgate Party each Sunday the Browns play at Cleveland Browns Stadium. For those not in attendance, the web site also offers a live chat room, called 'The Browns Tavern'. TBB also operates many on-line fantasy leagues such as various Fantasy Football, Baseball, Basketball, Pro & College Pick'em Pools, and Bowl Mania Challenge. TBB members have always been a contributor to area fundraisers involving our youth. TBB is no stranger to helping support Berea Travel Baseball, as it has done so since 2004. BEREA BRAVES

U12 TRAVEL BASEBALL

The Berea Braves U12 Travel Baseball Team  is a collection of All Star Talent from the city of Berea Ohio. Berea is located in the Southwest suburbs of Cleveland and home to Baldwin Wallace College &  the NFL's Cleveland Browns. The team plays in the Cuyahoga Valley Baseball Association league (CVBA). The CVBA was established in 1991 as an organization of community level All Star teams. This organization has helped to provide a higher level of competition than a community level league could provide. It's believed that by having the best players of a community compete with the best of other communities will better prepare these athletes to compete at the High School and College levels. CVBA will continue to exist as long as communities are interested in providing athletes with a higher level of competition.

What will raised funds go towards?

The Berea Braves U12 Travel Baseball Team has an opportunity to compete in a National Tournament (Cooperstown Dreamspark) in Cooperstown New York, Home of the prestigious Little League Hall of Fame from July 5th thru 11th, 2008. This is a costly mission but one of an opportunity of a lifetime. In fact, the City of Berea in coordination with the Berea Baseball Association, Only allot this opportunity to the 12-yr old age group because of the fund raising effort needed to send a team to this tournament. The players have been preparing year-round for the past three years to be competitive in the CVBA league and to represent Berea well. In addition, the families of these players have been working fundraisers and such to raise the nearly $16-19k needed to complete a dream season such as they face this season. The tournament will cost $850/per player & coach. The regular season incurs costs such as $80/per game (x 24-30 games) for umpires, uniform & equipment expenses, batting cage rentals, game balls, league and tournament registration fees, etc... All coaches and team helpers are contributing their time on a volunteer basis. All parents, siblings and family members and friends will pay their own travel expenses as this team will compete against area programs throughout North East Ohio, as well as to Cooperstown New York.

Our team, was formed in 2006 at the 10 yr old age group, and this will mark our 3rd year playing together. Please join the many volunteers, parents, coaches and communities in helping send these gifted athletes to the 96-team Little League Hall of Fame Tournament in Cooperstown New York.
